About TodoCádiz

Who we are

TodoCádiz is an independent project by Nubesol (España). It brings together the places worth visiting in Cádiz, its festivals, the weather and what visitors think, in Spanish (todocadiz.es) and English (todocadiz.com).

Where the data comes from

• Photos: Wikimedia Commons, only files with free licences. Each photo shows its author and licence; see the photo credits.
• Maps: OpenStreetMap contributors, drawn with Leaflet.
• Weather and wind: Open-Meteo, refreshed every 20 minutes. Wind is classed as Levante (east to south-east, 60° to 155°), Poniente (west, 210° to 325°), North or South; Levante is “strong” from 28 km/h.
• Events: the dates in the calendar are approximate until the organisers confirm them (Carnival and Holy Week move every year with the calendar).
• Reviews: written by visitors, published after anti-spam checks and translated automatically into the other language.

How we choose the news

The news section is refreshed automatically from the public RSS feeds listed below. We show only the headline, a short extract and a link to the original story; the full text belongs to each outlet. Spanish stories are machine-translated and labelled as such. We do not review them: each source is responsible for its content.
