About this place

Parque Genovés is Cádiz’s great garden, on the city’s Atlantic façade beside La Caleta and the bastions. It has a small lake, an artificial waterfall and paths among tropical and subtropical trees such as ficus and dragon trees.

It is a good place to rest in the shade in summer, walk with children or take a break between castles and beach. It lies next to Santa Catalina Castle and a few minutes from the Alameda.

Check with the city council whether any area is closed for works or maintenance.
