The Official Carnival Group Contest (COAC) fills the Gran Teatro Falla for weeks every winter, and its Grand Final is the decisive night when the top prizes in each category are awarded.
Tickets sell out well in advance; it can also be followed on television and radio. For 2027 the local press places it on Friday 5 February, just before the Carnival weekend.
