About this place

La Victoria is the longest and busiest beach in Cádiz, with almost three kilometres of fine golden sand beside the modern part of the city. It has a promenade, nearby parking, beach bars and play areas, which makes it a family favourite.

In summer there are lifeguards and cleaning services; out of season it is a long, open walk. Strong Levante afternoons easily raise sand and red flags: in that case it is better to switch to a sheltered beach in the old town.

You can reach it by city bus from the centre or on foot along the Paseo Marítimo (about 30 to 40 minutes from La Caleta).
